The original of the place was thefloating fish farm, where we grown grouper fish, sea bass, red snapper and rainbow lobsters.
After a while, it’s getting harder to find jueveniles of those fish. Baung Meet (Mr. Meet) , who was originally a local fisher man. Started to brought in a new species of fish , such as, cloud fish , travally, doronndo and a lots more ,to grow in these floating farm instead. To feed all th fish in these farm, he use the left over from his daily cough.

Soon the Eco tourism had have effect to the local. Encourage the local to earn their other income from it. They decide to gather together and started the project call “Home stayed”. The project is basicly provide tourist a place to stay + meal and learn them the local’s way of life. Mr. Meet is one of the member of Home Stayed and he guides tourist to visit local area and how they live their live in the daily basis. Also he will show them the beautiful islands around the Phang Nga bay as well, for example Koh Bele (Koh Hong) Koh Lading, Koh Pakbia, Koh Nok, the sand bank and many more. At the dust , he will then come back to feed his beloved fish.

At Bann Mungkorn, the house on the raft farm is the bungalow styled. Which those bungalow were built on the actual farm where you can se fish and lobsters under neat you. The rafts are located in the area of Leam Tri, where is so trangqueil , calm, love fresh natural air and the folks
