This is a lovely set of
bungalows sitting on a hillside
right at the southern most tip of
the island. Six bungalows
altogether, three with double beds
and three twin. All have toilet,
shower, fan and mosquito net. Koh
Yao Lam Sai is run by Beb and his
younger sister and the pair go out
of their way to ensure your stay is
a pleasant and interesting one. Beb
has a speed boat fully kitted out
with lifejackets and fishing gear
ideal for trips to neighboring
islands or a shopping day in Phuket.
The bungalows are at the very
end of the road so there are no
traffic noises except passing
fishing vessels and the sunset views
from here is spectacular. The
restaurant hangs over the sea and
fresh seafood is available daily. It
is possible to walk around the point
here at low tide to Lom’Lae Resort
for lunch or to take a jungle trek
with Beb to see the sea eagles and
other wildlife.
