PASAI COTTAGE Kohyaonoi
Consists of ten bungalows right at
Pasai Beach with great views out to
Nok Island and, on a clear day, Phi
Phi and Lanta Islands. Each room has
toilet, fan, shower and mosquito net
and is set far enough back from the
small road between the resort and
the beach so that there is little or
no noise from passing motorbikes.
The rooms all have double beds.

friendly and can serve food to order
in their small but cosy restaurant
facing the sea. Thai, European and
Chinese food is available. Bicycles can be hired here and also
motorbikes and longtail boats for
other tours. Rates vary according to
season, please email for more
details.

roughing it in
paradise...
We stayed here for 2 nights
with our tour group. The
rooms are bungalow style.
There is no A/C, hot water,
or TV. Amazingly the room
stayed cool with the fan
provided. There are mosquito
nets over the beds. At night
you can hear the sounds of
night birds and critters
lurking in the dark. We were
surprised one night by a
large gecko (at least 12
inches long) in our room.
Across the street is the
beach. The island is very
underdeveloped so if you're
looking for the night scene
or bars this isn't the place
for you. This is also a
muslim area so appropriate
dress is required. There are
also no ATMS so pull out
cash before you leave the
mainland. We took an island
tour to see the fisherman
villages and rubber
plantation. There are pay
internet sites in the
"downtown" area. There is
also a restaurant at the
hotel. The food is good and
there is a big assortment to
choose from. Prices are
decent and everything was
good. The hotel staff were
friendly and accommodating.
Just keep an open mind and
remember that you're on a
small island!
